The Pennsylvania Big Tree Register is a list of all of the largest trees of each species in the state. It has nearly 2,000 specimens and is growing all the time. Explore how the Big Tree Register works and discover some of Pennsylvania’s most impressive specimens. Learn why big trees are so important, including their ecological and cultural value to our landscapes.
