This led him to purchase a 14-acre historic farm in Chester County\, PA\, which he has been systematically converting to gardens ever since. These gardens began as highly competitive and stable warm season blocks that had gravitas late in the season and have evolved into more intermingled plant communities of cool and warm season layers that add resiliency and depth to the plantings. Explore the beauty of our seasonal landscape and what has and hasn’t functioned at the studio garden\, as well as clients’ gardens.\n \nFree of charge; registration is required.  \nThis lecture is also part of our monthly Third Thursday Lecture Series. It is made up of the twenty-six letters of the alphabet and each letter has the texture of a different plant identified by its Latin genus (the scientific name). Join us to meet the artist and learn all about her Botanical Fainting Couch and the investigation\, experimentation\, and innovation that went into its creation.  \nThis presentation will take place indoors\, but dress for the weather to view the sculpture right outside the John J.
