Children must be walking (no strollers) and must be accompanied by an adult. \nRegistration required for children only. DESCRIPTION:Wrap up your Earth Week activities with a Hort. Blitz at Jenkins! Each year\, we invite our community to join us as we continue the restoration efforts in our natural areas.  For this year’s spring Hort. Blitz we will be tackling the colonies of garlic mustard in our Conservation Woodlands. Meet at the Education Center and then walk with the group to the Conservation Woodlands where we will be working. Wear sturdy shoes and bring a water bottle. All tools provided. This event will be held completely outdoors.

DESCRIPTION:Spring at Jenkins is the perfect time to photograph blooms – join us for a two-day workshop!\n\n\nPeak Bloom Photography \n2-day Workshop: \nFRIDAY\, APRIL 26 | 6:00 – 8:00 PM \nSATURDAY\, APRIL 27 | 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM \nLaura Ducceschi\, Fine Art Photographer \nSpring at Jenkins is the perfect time to photograph blooms with azaleas\, rhododendrons\, and flowering trees galore! Award-winning photographer Laura Ducceschi will illustrate some of the challenges and solutions to creating impactful floral photographs\, including equipment\, camera settings\, lighting\, and composition. \nFriday evening’s indoor instruction will prepare you for photographing out in the gardens on Saturday morning. After spending time in the gardens\, the group will reconvene indoors for supportive sharing. \nParticipants will need to bring a camera\, a fully charged battery\, and a camera card with space to shoot freely. Photographers with any kind of camera can benefit\, but DSLRs are recommended. \nMembers: $70 | Non-Members: $80
