In addition to our two large wildflower beds, over a mile of paved walkways are edged with ferns and wildflowers, carefully tended to allow for an incredible diversity of plant species while maintaining a somewhat wild, naturalistic look. Nearly all native, these wildflowers come in all different shapes, colors and sizes. This diversity attracts birds, bees and insects of all kinds. With different flowers blooming at different times all through summer, there is always something new to see (and smell). From the exotic passionflowers and monkshood to the rare prickly pear and Cumberland rosemary, you’re sure to find something that sparks your interest.
