Two essentials of a healthy garden are water and beneficial insects. I was inspired by the fact that lady bugs are one of the most beneficial insects in the garden, common in mine, and frequently seen (as larvae and adults) devouring the aphids that suck the watery sap of my tender plants. So after a good meal my ladies go out and play.
